    • Removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled the transmission of a sports car solo.

    • Performed diagnostic tests and trouble shooting on vehicles systems :

    • Rebuilt wiring harnesses and cooling systems

    • Upgraded A/C systems to conform to modern standards

  • Computer systems design and repair

    • Built three computers from scratch, Repaired laptop motherboard,

  • 3D Printing

    • Designed and printed multiple items from snowboard bindings to watering can spouts to automotive boost tubes Rapid prototyping and designing experience. Performed tension and shear tests on printed samples.

      • Experience with a variety of types: FDM, FFF,  SLA,

      • Experience with a variety of materials: PLA, Liquid polymer, ABS, TPU, PETG

      • ABET Accredited Direct Digital Manufacturing certificate.

      • Learned mesh repair, model simplification, STL to part conversion and modification and design for additive process

  • Materials Science:

    • Tested materials for project use feasibility, including flexible and rigid plastics under adjustable loads at two temperatures.

  • Advanced Composites

    • Experience with hand layups

      • Vacuum bagging of parts, Forming, epoxy/resin mixing, Making Fiber volume to resin volume ratio, calculations, Making Young’s modulus and Rule of Mixtures calculations. Learned how to develop and make a composite project.

    • Experience with

      • Carbon fiber, Aramid fiber, Fiber glass

      • Gained experience in making resin to matrix calculations, in preparing and laying sheets of material, in calculating the strengths of the material based on the fiber orientation, and preparing vacuum bags, and finding leaks in the vacuum bags.
